Our annual fundraising event, UWFRA – The Wharfedale Three Peaks Challenge is less than two weeks away on Saturday the 28th of June.

There are 2 challenge events which competitors can choose to run or walk and also a short family walk.

The 3 peaks which is 17 miles and takes in Firth Fell, Buckden pike and Great Whernside.
The 2 peaks route is 13.5 miles and taking in Buckden pike and Great Whernside.

The course records are:
Three Peaks – Oli Murphy 2:09 (2024); Rachel Pilling 2:55 (2023)
Two Peaks – Paul Carman 2:02 (2017) Emma Hopkinson 2:04 (2023)

We have a family walk of 4.5 miles which takes in the pretty loop around the river between Kettlewell and Starbotton.
Food and refreshments are provided at the finish and we have water available at the roads between each peak.

Costs of running the team and being able to provide a free rescue service are ever increasing, last year running costs exceeded £80,000.
