❤️ CHARITY ANNOUNCEMENT ❤️
Every year, we always support 2 charities, Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue and one other.
This year we are honoured to be teaming up with Max Out In The Lake District to help raise money for Brave Hound.
Brave Hound provide assistance dogs to veterans who have a clinical diagnosis of a mental health condition such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and anxiety.
It costs £10,000 to train each dog to the qualified standard and Team Max are hoping to raise £20,000 to provide 2 Springer Spaniels and hopefully, with all our customers help, we can help provide a third Spaniel.
As a lot of you know, we lost our Springer Spaniel Jaz in 2023 and she brightened up so many people’s lives on good and bad days, so this would brighten up our day, to help a veteran have their own special spaniel.
We have provided details in our customers arrival newsletter on ways that they maybe able to support us, but if anyone else would like to donate, no matter how small, then please pop into our shop/reception to donate, thank you ❤️.
